Important Information

Hi all,

Hope the start of the season has got off to a good start.
Some important information needs to be relayed to you so please take note.

SARU EXAM:

  1. Johan Pieterse has kindly offered his time for those people who still need to write the SARU exam; this will be the last chance to write the exam. Exam will take place on MONDAY, 3rd MAY at HTS Bellville starting at 18:00. Please let me know if you will be attending so I can let Johan know
  2. Results for SARU exam were published at the monthly meeting that was held last week; many of you are phoning or mailing regarding results and due to you not attending the monthly meeting did not receive results. You can contact Ben or I tomorrow and Monday for your results. We do not have your original papers this is with SA Rugby.

CLOTHING:

  1. Till now, I have not received kit from supplier, after many call from Ben we still wait. I will mail you all as soon as I have all the kit available for you to purchase.
  2. When purchasing kit please phone before you come and preferably collect kit during the morning.

MATCH REPORTS/INCIDENT REPORTS:

  1. Please note that all match reports and incident reports come to me (Tracey) and not Marianne. These can be faxed to 021 686 2336 or mailed to tdunbar@wprugby.co.za
  2. The correct incident reports will only be accepted – one which is available on website; I have attached it to this mail so you will have a copy. NO hand written or old forms will be permitted. If you wish to add a written document about the incident that happens that is fine; just add it to the incident report form
  3. Players details must be on the form; it is your responsibility to get players full name and card number.
  4. Match results can only be submitted via our website or the appointment letter Marianne sends you.
  5. A full report is being kept by Alan Becker on those refs who don’t submit incident reports and/or match results; failure in doing will be dealt with accordingly.
  6. There have been complaints from clubs that referees do not hand in player cards when they give a red card. Please make sure you send these to the offices in the week of incident report being sent. They can be posted to the office if need be (postal address stated below).
  7. It’s unfortunate that we have had so many cases of verbal and physical abuse to referees over the past few weeks already; please write a detailed report if this happens to you for us to submit to the club department to deal with.
  8. Red card incident reports – please send to office on the Monday; latest Tuesday morning for us to process.

ID CARDS:

  1. I will be posting the last of the ID cards this week for those who haven’t collected; if you do not receive your one (that is pending on if you sent a ID photo) by Friday next week, please contact me.

 ASSESSOR REPORTS:

  1. You will receive your assessor reports via e-mail or post depending on how the report was sent. If you missing a report please contact this office. I’m posting the last weeks reports tomorrow.

If there are any problems please contact the office.
